Glub Club surfaced from the waters of a Screen Queensland Residency Game Jam, with the fishiest smelling Gameboy Color game to be made in the past 20 years. Taking first place in the jam with their hit Dead Fish, Glub Club is currently working on other nautical themed projects inspired by Commodore 64 games and consists of; Zac Dickinson (Programmer), Joy Ferrentino (Artist) and Kaelin Stemmler (Musician).

Dead Fish is a game about an ambitious and stubborn bass that wants to travel to space.
As part of an internal game-jam, the mighty and slippery Zac, Kaelin and Joy banded together and came up with this idea to fit the 3 themes,
"Don't go outside," "Ticket to Paradise," and "13."

For unknown reasons, the team decided to add another limitation to the already restrictive 4-day challenge; making the whole thing run on gameboy color.

who are we?

We already told you. we're Glub Club.

Yeah, you get it.

Ok, fine.

We're Glub Club!

Three fish people who love talking about making games, but also sometimes making games. Our many published titles one finished game has a focus on head-scratching puzzles, faithfully retro limitations, and esoteric humour. We're all very proud of it and want to make more fun stuff like it. Thankfully, we're quite skilled absolutely cracked, so you can trust us to actually follow through.

This is Zac. He wrangles and fights Unity to the death to save the kingdom of 'I don't want to go back to software development.' With his fifty degrees in space science and bachelor of lying, we're confident he'll take us to victory (and space).

This is Joy,
better known online as MythicalWater. They specialise in 2D animation and illustration, and are also responsible for the amazing dialogue you button-mashed to skip through.

This is Kaelin, who's definitely not two virtualboys in a trenchcoat. With a guitar in hand and a jar of corn relish in the other (long story), he writes a lot of chiptune music, often with authentically clunky and outdated software and hardware.
